The outing is a four-person scramble format with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. There will be various hole contests as well as a hole-in-one contest. Prize package for the primary hole-in-one is tickets to the U.S. Open golf tournament. The package, valued at $11,000, includes roundtrip airfare, five-day/four-night
accommodations
for two, and tickets to every tournament round. Other hole-in-one prizes include a $500 Visa card, a Nike driver, and a Bose Wave music system.
Tournament entry fee of $65 includes cart, greens fee, entertainment by Spid Pieper, steak fry dinner and prizes for every golfer. Deadline for team signup is July 16. The event is open to all golfers 18 or older. Registration forms are available at the Mayville Golf Club, Mayville Chamber of Commerce or Coldwell Banker Del Ponte Realty. All proceeds from the outing benefit the Mayville Chamber of Commerce.
